MATERIAL: Garlic, ginger, Chinese calligrahy

In the Museum Invasion series, I smuggled in a sprouting rhizome of ginger and a garlic into Philadelphia Museum of Arts and MoMA PS1. The ginger or the garlic is partially wrapped in paper densely marked with Chinese calligraphy, placing it along the works of the art exhibition on view. Later on, because of the 911 terrorist attack, museums in America enhanced their security force, this project becomes very difficult to perform anymore.
